The new kids in the neighborhood....
We may be new in the neighborhood, but not to serving the Lord and Johnson County. Outreach Community Church moved into our new home in November of 2008 after worshiping for 6 years at our previous home on Main Street in Greenwood. We are extremely excited about the new opportunities God is providing for us at our new home. We are currently meeting in the house on the property while we plan our new building. We're easy to spot..........just look for big BIG RED BARN.
We are affiliated with the Church Of God, Anderson Indiana.
Here at Outreach we believe in celebrating our relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Denny Gibbons is a true life-application preacher, teaching on biblical principles and how scripture is pertinent to our lives today. He teaches how to apply the Word to stay within God's will.
Our worship team mixes contemporary Christian music with many traditional and loved hymns. Our eclectic mix provides something for everyone's taste. Our worship services are always changing and led by the spirit.
Proudly serving God and Johnson County....
We have always made Johnson County the focal point of our ministries through serving and volunteering. We have been paired with the Refuge to provide assistance and services to those in need in Johnson County. We are also currently teaming up with Safe Haven shelters, Johnson County Humane society.
So if you're looking for a friendly, slightly different, no pressure atmosphere to worship the Lord and want to have a great time doing it, stop by and check us out. We stand on the Word of God - not traditional religious rites and ceremony. We are a casual "come as you are" church. We believe that our love of God and man is what is important for others to see.
